To help put a face to the name (before we meet in person), my team grilled me on my favourite things and living on the Redcliffe Peninsula…
How long have you called yourself a Redcliffe local? We’ve been Woody Point homeowners for almost 10 years.
What do you love about the area? The water, the people, the relaxed lifestyle.
What’s your take on the evolution of the local property market? There certainly has been upward pressure on pricing in market in Redcliffe area which is overdue. But the good news is we have seen more and more first home buyers entering the area as it is still represents good value for money. Plus, it comes with an enviable lifestyle that’s hard to find anywhere else within a 20km radius of the city, or even in the North Lakes area.
How do you spend your down-time? You’ll find me at Fitstop most days for a group exercise session, we also love taking a walk around Woody Point and out to Sutton’s Beach and back. I have a stand-up paddle board that I try to get out on. On Sunday’s the Redcliffe Markets are a must – we love the variety and relaxed atmosphere. A few quiet drinks down at the Belvedere Hotel on a Sunday arvo is also a relaxing way to top off the weekend.

- Café 389 at Woody Point is great value and has an awesome breaky burger.
- Mammas Italian Restaurant – we are so happy it has come back to Reddy!
What’s the motivation for offering consultations in Redcliffe?
We have helped many Redcliffe locals who found us and were happy to travel to meet us at our Aspley headquarters, but we also saw that there was a shortage of quality mortgage broking advice on the Peninsula.
And we love living here, so we just want to help as many people as we can and support them in getting better deals and advice when it comes to their home loans.

His career began with ANZ Bank in New Zealand, where he progressed over 16 years to a Business Banking role in Virginia. After moving to Brisbane in 2000, Patrick led the QLD market for a home loan agency, helped set up the REMAX Real Estate Finance division, and practiced as a broker.
